Once Upon a Time

“Not all your clothes- you packed, mm?” Jim shrugs, chuckles. In all honesty, Sebastian’s comment is close enough to the truth, but Jim’s never been one to care for the truth.

This is proving entertaining- perhaps once beta testing is over, he’ll bring in other test subjects, depending on how favourable the results are.

“No, no~” He answers. “This is the new flat. Welcome to the main complex.”

He’d packed exactly one change of clothes, but the issue’s tired enough that he doesn’t mention it.

The main complex.

This is infinitely bigger than anything ‘Bastian could have imagined. It’s like something out of a film. A world-wide crime syndicate, headed completely by … the man in front of him.

A short, scrawny Irishman with a penchant for irritating ambiguity.

“…Right.” ‘Bas foregoes trying to process this in favour of getting something like familiar ground beneath his feet. “So is someone going to ‘show me to my rooms’, so I can sleep properly?”
